*Note this Blog post is based on a Real Life Conversation

Had the opportunity to speak to someone, who has taken ownership for the fun, joy and leisure of self and others in a world that can be quite chaotic and busy. As someone who went to there now known as Dankie sounds events at university, I must say it made my experience that much more memorable!

How did you get into Events?

I was around a lot of different influential people growing up mostly footballers. One thing that they liked to do was party but could be quite expensive so had to think how can we do this consistently at an affordable prices.

Going into university we started running our own events and quite quickly became the talk of the town, feeling was great. Giving people a great experience & making a good living whilst at it. Now events industry is massive.

What’s something that you’ve learnt on journey?

Always the importance of thinking big & up-skilling. Through this we are able to host up to even 10 events a month. Attracting the likes of Darkest & Harry Pineiro to say the least. However with the scene always changing and many entries into the market, diversifying has become more important & now looking at doing other things such as film production.

What does self realisation mean to you?

Coming out of comfort zone and being willing to do things differently. Living in the age of technology and social media there are new ways to promote things doing so must adapt. Plug into Dankie sounds insta here! see what they do: https://www.instagram.com/dankiesounds/?hl=en
