*Note this Blog post is based on a Real Life Conversation

Had a nice conversation, with a Footballer that has experienced football at the top level. Was a great conversation in which learnt a thing or two about footie .. living vicariously through the heights reached ;)

Enjoy the conversation!

How did you get into football?

Dad got me into football from a young age. Project Mbappe well underway & was also a prolific sprinter, running for Cambridge Harriers doing different sprint heats.

Who would you say taught you the most along the way?

Andre flow (E

x Chelsea footballer) , I was good in many different positions but hadn’t mastered one yet. So the coach really helped me at Chelsea hone in a position & become an elite winger, and just trusting in my ability. Giving the belief to know that good enough.

What is something football has taught you?

As a player, Faith without works is dead also applies to football. Have to just go for it, trust in your ability, express yourself on the pitch, and then God will help get to where need to. But if not moving then nothing will chang.

On the topic of faith. How is it being a baller in Christ?

I think making sure you have a church community is important. As around an environment that can be quite competitive and ruthless, so having the place of worship that can spend time with God gives renewal of spirit and mind ahead of new week.

What does self realisation mean to you?

Knowing your ability, believing that your good enough and never giving up on the dream.
